Hop aboard the Holiday Wine Trolley and take a joyful tour through historic Downtown Napa and its Victorian neighborhoods!

Each December, on select nights, The vintage Cable Car takes visitors and locals on a fun ride filled with classic carols (from the 1890s-1940s), and lots of holiday spirit. The tour starts at 6:30 and lasts an hour and a half. The trolley departs from the popular Oxbow Public Market, a fun place to grab dinner and eat on a river front patio.

Napa Valley Wine Trolley “Holiday Light Tours” will return to downtown Napa on Fridays through Sundays on December 8, 9, 10, December 15, 16, 17 and Friday and  Saturday December, 22 and 23, 2017.

The 90-minute tours, including, candy canes, classic Christmas carols with sing-alongs led by musically talented trolley drivers, will depart those nights from the Oxbow Public Market at 6:30 p.m. and tour the historic downtown areas of Napa, including many of the beautifully lighted inns and quaint Victorian neighborhoods.

Tickets will cost $25 per adult with children under the age of 10 paying $15 per ticket.

“We’re delighted that our Holiday Lights Tours have become part of the Christmas tradition here in the Valley, and we’re particularly pleased that the proceeds from these events will be donated to the Foster Children of Napa Valley,” said Mark Leonardi, The Napa Valley Wine Trolley General Manager.

Leonardi urged passengers on the trolley tours to consider having dinner at one of the fine restaurants surrounding the Oxbow Public Market or The Restaurant at CIA Copia after the tour.

“It is always a delightful moment to be able to dine on a riverfront patio overlooking the Napa River, especially during the holiday season when so many homes and hotels are so beautifully decorated,” he said.

He also reminded trolley riders to be mindful of chilly evening temperatures in Napa in December, recommending that they wear warm clothing for their tours.
