The Golden Gate Restaurant Association’s third annual Saucy Awards is truly unique and one of its kind, where its mission is to raise awareness and honor some of the Bay Area’s most talented hospitality professionals whose hustle have actively shaped the Bay Area’s food scene. Winners will be announced and awarded a copper sauce pan from Williams Sonoma at a gala on November 12, 2018, at the historic Herbst Theater.  Tickets to the gala are on sale now and include the awards ceremony and post-reception catered by Meadowood Catering.

The GGRA’s Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual who has committed his/her life’s work to the restaurant community by promoting the Bay Area as a world-class culinary destination, providing excellent customer service, and mentoring the next generation of culinary professionals. Nancy Oakes was selected by the GGRA as this year’s honoree. A native to Northern California, Nancy has over 30 years of restaurant experience and opened her acclaimed restaurant, Boulevard, in 1993.
