A Taste of Howell Mountain In Texas

For the wine enthusiast who lives in Texas, but plays in Napa had the opportunity to enjoy world-class wines from Howell Mountain Appellation wineries during their Moving Mountains: A Taste of Howell Mountain at the Stephen F. Austin InterContinental Hotel located in historical downtown Austin.

Special admission included an evening of wine tasting with twenty-five of Howell Mountain prominent wineries which included gourmet food pairings from selected fine culinary retailers in support of charities benefiting art, music & physical education programs for elementary school children.

This popular 3-day tour was held from 6-9PM starting in Dallas on Thursday February 7th at the Park City Club, traveling to Austin on Friday, February 8th ending Saturday, February 9th at the St. Regis Houston. Tickets for the Texas wine tour are $150 per stop and typically sell out days after its announcement online through the Howell Mountain & Grower Association website.

Howell Mountain truly lives up to its authentic roots of wine making and growing from its rolling hills 2,000 feet above the floor of Napa Valley. The unique microclimates offer rich variety of grapes and hillside wineries to explore. A few participating wineries this year were: ADAMVS, Outpost, Lamborn Family Vineyards, Moone-Tsai, Aloft and Cliff Family Winery.
