Blue Note Napa announces the JaM Cellars Ballroom at the Margrit Mondavi Theatre.

Previously the Opera House Ballroom, the JaM Cellars Ballroom will feature a wide variety of musical artists and performances on the second floor of the historic Napa Valley Opera House, located at 1030 Main Street in downtown Napa.

“We wanted to work with someone who shared the vision that Margrit had so many years ago – to restore the Napa Valley Opera House and bring world class music and the arts for the enjoyment of the Napa Valley community and its visitors,” stated Ken Tesler, Blue Note Napa Managing Partner. “As presenting sponsor for BottleRock Napa Valley, and by providing weekly music in their downtown Napa tasting lounge, John and Michele Truchard of JaM Cellars uniquely understand the importance of a vital arts and music scene in downtown Napa.”

“It’s exciting to see the thriving live music scene in downtown Napa,” stated JaM Cellars founder and CEO John Truchard. “Margrit Mondavi was the single greatest proponent of pairing wine and food with the arts, and we are honored to be associated with Margrit and help continue her legacy at the Napa Valley Opera House.”

The JaM Cellars Ballroom at the Margit Mondavi Theatre offers regular live music performances for audiences between 450 (seated) and 650 (standing) in an historic and intimate space with a state-of-the-art sound system, full bar and bar bites. In addition to its regular programming, the JaM Cellars Ballroom will host several BottleRock Napa Valley previews and aftershows, along with performances produced by BottleRock Presents throughout the year. With ample parking within blocks of the Napa Valley Opera House, The JaM Cellars Ballroom offers one of the most enjoyable musical performance venues in the San Francisco Bay Area and North Bay wine country.
