On one of California’s earliest wine estates, a unique terroir and ideal microclimate support a classical standard of viticulture, land use, and winemaking that is as relevant today as it was over a century ago.
Stags’ Leap Winery is located in a portion of the Stags Leap District that is an intimate valley within the greater Napa Valley. It is a place of natural beauty, storied buildings and vibrant gardens, a lively history, and a reputation for elegant wines showing finesse and intensity. Our winemaker, Christophe Paubert, showcases this renowned area by letting the fruit express itself with little to no manipulation during the winemaking process.
Our property is full of rich history and wonderful wines, different that anywhere you will find in the valley. From Viognier sourced from Carneros at the southern end of the valley, elegant, ripe, yet restrained Cabernet Sauvignon, all the way to a wine blended from 17 different varietals sourced directly from our over 100 year old Ne Cede Malis vineyard, there is nothing more magical than visiting Stags’ Leap Winery.
