Taste of Sonoma – a spectacular Labor Day Weekend event, September 2nd and 3rd – offers an extraordinary immersive opportunity for wine and culinary enthusiasts to taste incomparable wines and locally-grown, gourmet dishes; meet passionate vintners and growers; and experience the welcoming community spirit of the Sonoma County wine region.

Taste of Sonoma will bring the historic Sonoma County wine region to life with access to rare and highly sought-after wines, gourmet foods and locally grown produce from top Sonoma County chefs, intimate conversations with wine luminaries and winemakers, and focused seminars covering a range of topics — from Sonoma County terroir to expert advice from chefs. Held at the beautiful Donald & Maureen Green Music Center at Sonoma State University, nestled in the picturesque foothills of Northern California’s esteemed Wine Country, the event offers the perfect setting to celebrate the region’s amazing wine and food. More than 200 wineries will share unique varietals from their acclaimed collections, and approximately 60 local top chefs will feature mouthwatering bites.

“Taste of Sonoma is the ideal Labor Day Weekend adventure and a ‘must’ for wine and food lovers who want to indulge in Sonoma County’s finest wines and artisan food,” said Sonoma County Vintners Executive Director Jean Arnold Sessions. “The dynamic, two-day event is one of the top wine and food festivals in the country and will give guests special access to the abundance of Sonoma County’s famed wineries and culinary artists.”

Taste of Sonoma’s packed weekend activities include an all-day Grand Tasting event showcasing Sonoma County’s impeccable wines and foods. Guests can opt to participate in the afternoon Sommelier Tours, in which nationally acclaimed sommeliers will lead wine enthusiasts on a 30-minute guided tasting. Both afternoons will also feature Wine Talk Seminars, offering informative, lively panel discussions and focused tastings with renowned Sonoma County winemakers. Taste of Sonoma guests can also participate in a blind tasting challenge to test their knowledge of Sonoma County wines. At the end of each blind tasting, the sommelier host will reveal the wines, and share tasting tips.

One and two-day tickets range in price from $150 to $300 per person, with Club Reserve tickets providing guests special access to the people behind Sonoma County’s iconic brands who will share their most sought after, limited release wines.
