Live in the Vineyard’s 10th Anniversary celebration opening reception was held at the new Vista Collina Resort in Napa.

Music industry personnel and guests were welcomed in the court yard with wine tasting and gourmet bites. Founder Bobbii Hach Jacobs welcomed everyone and reminisce about the 10-years she has been bringing rising musical artists together in the Napa Valley.  Under a clear dusk sky Bay Area musician Michael Franti introduced a new face to the singer songwriter scene, 20-year Victoria Canal who has been touring with Franti’s band this year.  Thursday’s performance by Franti and Canal is the second to last concert of their season before they conclude in Georgia later in the weekend.

“I found this amazing talent on Instagram,” Franti told the crowd of Canal “and I had to meet her.”  Franti then asked Canal to tour with the band.

The self-proclaimed one arm piano player, Canal performed a few of her songs she wrote before joining Franti and his band for the rest of the high-energy evening, which included Franti and members of his band performing in the audience with the enthusiastic crowd.
